These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the Forestone website (the "Site") and any purchase of products from Forestone. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.
1. Professional Verification
Forestone sells acupuncture needles and other restricted medical devices only to licensed healthcare practitioners (e.g., acupuncturists, physiotherapists, chiropractors) who are legally permitted to use such devices in their jurisdiction. When you register for an account, you must provide your professional license information. Forestone reserves the right to verify your credentials and to deny or cancel any account or order if verification fails.
2. Orders and Acceptance
• All orders are subject to acceptance by Forestone. We may refuse or cancel any order at our sole discretion, including due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud.
• An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs when we ship the product and send you an invoice.
3. Pricing and Payment
• All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) and exclude applicable taxes (GST, HST, QST). Taxes will be added at checkout.
• We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Payment is processed securely; funds are captured at the time of order.
• Forestone reserves the right to change prices without prior notice.
4. Shipping and Delivery
• Shipping timelines and free shipping thresholds are set out in our Shipping & Returns page.
• Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the shipping carrier. However, we will assist with lost or damaged claims as a courtesy.
5. Returns and Exchanges
• Due to the sterile nature of acupuncture needles, we do not offer refunds. Exchanges or store credit may be granted under specific conditions (e.g., defective product, incorrect item shipped). See our Shipping & Returns page for full details.
• A 15% restocking fee may apply for non‑defective returns.
6. Product Use and Disclaimer
• Forestone products are intended for use only by trained professionals. You assume full responsibility for the safe and proper use of all products.
• Product descriptions are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, Forestone disclaims all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Forestone be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our products or website. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.
8. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Ontario.
9. Changes to Terms
We may modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
